4. Optimization, Part II

This course discusses the global algorithms available in OpticStudio. It then covers in details the design of a doublet lens: starting from a cemented doublet, the course explores how the system performance can be improved by aspherizing a surface, changing to an air-spaced design or optimizing the element’s materials.
